Everything we’ve shipped
New features, refinements, and fixes — written down as they land, so you always know what changed.
Feature
Smart AI tagging for every Capture
Every Clarity now runs through on-device tagging the moment it’s created. Objects, interface elements, and any text inside the image are recognised locally using the Neural Engine, so your library becomes searchable without a single manual label.

Improvement
Faster library search
The search index has been moved to a new incremental engine. Results now stream in while you type instead of waiting for the full query to resolve, and large libraries no longer pause on first launch.
We also improved ranking so recent Clarity and exact text matches surface above fuzzy matches. Filters for date and type can be combined with any query.
Feature
Shared spaces for teams
Spaces let you group Clarity and invite teammates. Everyone sees the same annotations, in order, with a single thread of comments per Clarity instead of scattered replies across chat tools.
Spaces support view-only and edit access, and can be revoked at any time. Contents stay end-to-end encrypted while syncing.
Improvement
Annotation tools rebuilt
Arrows, highlights, and redactions are now drawn as vectors. Markups scale cleanly to any export size and stay editable after the file has been shared.
Redactions are applied destructively on export, so hidden content never leaves your machine inside the image data.
Fix
Sync reliability fixes
Resolved a rare condition where Clarity created while offline could remain queued after reconnecting, preventing them from appearing on a second device.
Also fixed a memory growth issue during long import sessions and corrected a mis-sorted date group in the library sidebar.
Feature
Import from any folder
Point Clarity at a folder and it will ingest, tag, and index everything already there. Thousands of old screenshots become a searchable library in a few minutes, without moving the originals.
Desktop, Downloads, external drives, and any local folder you choose. Imported files keep their original creation dates.
